Valentine dragons were given out during Valentines 2009. They are only capable of producing more Valentine dragons during the month of February, though are breedable year-round (but only producing the male's breed of egg). Each scroll/account is limited to 2 of these eggs to prevent hoarding. Any other Valentine eggs that are obtained will be automatically abandoned if picked up in the abandoned page or main cave, and after 30 minutes if bred.
According to Marrionetta, these were not a planned release. It was a spontaneous choice on the part of TJ09 to implement them and occurred roughly 15 minutes before the date rolled over to the 14th EST.
Official Dragon Description
Adult:
Valentine eggs are only seen once a year. Adults' mating seasons are very short, usually spanning the middle of the month of February. These dragons were once reputed to be omens of good luck in love.
Matured Hatchling:
Aww... It's a cute baby dragon. It seems shy, but loves attention. And look! It's grown its wings! It must be close to maturing.
Hatchling:
Aww... It's a cute baby dragon. It seems shy, but loves attention.
Egg:
This egg is speckled and very fragile.
