Tercorn Dragon

Tercorn Dragons were released on September 1, 2019, alongside Coral Pygmy Wyverns.

Since March 19, 2023, Tercorn Dragons may produce Ushgorn Dragons when bred with Xol Dragons. Tercorns also share the same egg description as Ushgorn Dragons, though Ushgorn eggs do not appear in the cave.

Adult[]

Tercorn Dragons are typically friendly and peaceful in nature. Most individuals are eager to help, and show highly-cooperative behavior. However, they can easily feel disrespected by those unfamiliar with their customs. While the three long horns protruding from their heads may be fearsome, they serve mostly to scare off aggressors, and if an attack is deemed necessary for self-defense, it is never deadly in intention. Tercorn Dragons are quite social and active within their aquatic environment, but rarely emerge on land if not caring for unhatched offspring in hidden coastal caves.

Appearance/Basic Anatomy

Webbed feet, tail fin and small wings for swimming.
The red frills at the sides of the head are utilized in communication.
Whiskers start to grow in once the dragon reaches adulthood.
Normal healthy individuals have lustrous scales. If the pink scales of a Tercorn Dragon turn white, it’s likely in a bad condition.
Good regenerative capacity. Supposedly able to regrow entire limbs.

Hatchling Behavior

Instinctively enter the water shortly after hatching.
Seek to help and to not cause much trouble, unless disgruntled.
For the most part frisky and gregarious when they have friendly company. Mournful when left alone.
Very excited when their wings and fins grow in, may become overwhelmingly active for a while.

Adult Behavior

Extremely formal and polite.
Light-hearted fights with each other are a favored pastime. They do not hurt each other in those fights.
If a Tercorn Dragon is harmed by another on accident, the other Tercorn will immediately treat the wounds.
Form loose groups, work closely together and split up tasks among themselves.
Don’t really follow a strong concept of possession, sometimes even lacking it completely. Sharing is the norm.
Sometimes threateningly direct their horns at those who do not treat them appropriately by their customs.

Habitat

Roam the ocean and can stay underwater for long periods at a time, but regularly need to return to the surface to breathe air.
No permanent home, but may frequently revisit certain places.
Prefer areas that they sense as lively.
Hatchlings remain in relatively shallow areas, carefully watched by adults, until their fins grow in.

Diet

The preferred diet of a Tercorn Dragon are algae, seaweed and the remnant shells or skins of crustaceans.
Also a scavenger, occasionally eating dead marine creatures.
Much greater appetite when they have wounds to heal.
