Spriter's Alt

A Spriter's Alt is a version of a dragon, generally a holiday dragon, recolored and given to the artists involved. These are restricted to the spriters' own scrolls, and different-colored alts cannot be bred.

The Snow Angel was the first Holiday Dragon to have a Spriter's Alt Version, but this introduction wasn't intentional. This dragon wasn't originally supposed to have an alternate coloration, and the artists got normally-colored adults just like everybody else. However, one of its spriters, Dis, asked to her colleague JaziandCo to make a special colored version to use as avatar and so the Snow Angel with the tan colored body and tri-colored wings was created. TJ saw this new sprite and promptly decided to release a fourth exclusive version of this dragon to give only to the three spriters, introducing in this way the first Spriter's Alt version and beginning the tradition of allowing spriters to make a different version of a Holiday dragon for their own scroll. (Since it was a surprise for the spriters of the Snow Angels, they never created tan hatchlings. Therefore, the white hatchlings evolved into the tan adult.)

Walker is the concept artist of the Arsani Dragon but not their spriter, therefore she is the first non-spriter to get a spriter's alt.
