Seraph Dragons were released on July 28, 2024, alongside Brumous Dragons.

Seraphs, along with Astralophyne Dragons, Fanalea Dragons, Furor Pygmies, Hooded Murkling Dragons, Pyrrhichios Dragons, and Thundersnow Dragons, can use the Adventure BSA. Through this action, the user may select up to six adult "adventurer" dragons to be sent on an adventure, attempting to ally a Scourgekeeper Dragon. If successful, an adult Scourgekeeper Dragon will be added to the user's scroll and the participating adventurers will "retire", making the BSA permanently unavailable for those dragons. A failed adventure imposes a 14-day cooldown on the participating adventurers, after which they can attempt another adventure.

Official descriptions[]

Egg[]

This egg is covered in soft, downy feathers.

Hatchling[]

Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It seems to have a strong sense of justice, and will step in to defend anything it deems weaker than itself.

Mature hatchling[]

Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It seems to have a strong sense of justice, and will step in to defend anything it deems weaker than itself.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Adult[]

Seraph Dragons are a sweet and caring species dedicated to helping others and defending the weak. They actively seek out those who may not be able to stand up for themselves easily, often claiming whoever they find as their "charge", which they will then protect with their life whether or not the subject agrees to let them. A single Seraph Dragon can have multiple charges, and they often do since they enjoy travelling and meeting new potential friends. Despite their generally kind demeanor, those who threaten a Seraph’s charge will see a whole different side to the dragon. They are very capable fighters; wielding strong light magic which they use to smite evil and a nasty blade on their tail, as well as boasting thick body plumage that’s tougher than steel despite its soft and fuzzy look. Those who dare pick a fight with a Seraph Dragon often find that they have severely underestimated their opponent, and typically have difficulty even leaving a scratch, let alone winning.

Additional information[]

Ok people have adults so I can finally spill now lol

I designed these guys way back for the first set of adventurers originally as a cleric option, but it was redesigned a bit after they weren't picked. In my totally unbiased paladin-main opinion, paladins are cooler anyway ;)

And have the old sketch for funsies
