Red Dinos, or Stegosaurus stenops, are an original species on the site, having been released on June 19, 2007, alongside Storm Dragons and Yellow Dinos.
Dinos are "non-dragon" creatures which do not have genders, and therefore cannot be bred. They also cannot be revived if killed. They come in six colors: Green, Red, Blue, Yellow, Purple, and Pink.
Adult Dinos were originally all male. Female Dinos appeared for a period before all Dinos stopped displaying any gender. Even when Dinos were gendered, they were not able to breed. The current sprites are inspired by Yoshi, which was used as the Dinos' original sprites before the Replacement Project. This has resulted in the Dinos featuring a more cartoonish style than regular dragons.

Finally, after much feeding, the baby has grown into a full Dino! Dinos can eat almost anything, including things with spikes. In order to do so, they must have very tough stomachs.

Trivia[]
- The original sprites for Dinos didn't have a differing sprite for hatchling and mature hatchlings, much like the Chicken still has today.
- Under the old Breed sort, these creatures sorted as "Yoshi Red" on a user's scroll. As of August 14, 2016, they now sort using their Encyclopedia name.
