Magnesium Amphipteres were released on April 25, 2021, alongside Sawtooth Dragons. Like all two-headed dragons, they can only breed with other two-headed breeds, and their eggs cannot be bitten by Vampire Dragons.

Official descriptions[]

Egg[]

This shiny gray egg smells of burnt metal.

Hatchling[]

Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has two heads, and spends a lot of time scratching around in the dirt.

Mature hatchling[]

Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has two heads, and spends a lot of time scratching around in the dirt.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Adult[]

Magnesium Amphipteres are a rather violent species. They ruthlessly drive out anything that dares to trespass on their territory, and spend much of their time flying tirelessly in wide circles as they hunt and patrol their space. Often a single individual shows aggression between even its own two heads as they fight for food and control over their body. They are not social and will only come together to mate, after which the two dragons return to their own territory almost instantly. Magnesium Amphipteres are named for their flames: these dragons can breathe blindingly bright, powdery flame from both heads.
