Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It gives off a strange odor.
And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.
Adult[]
Kaikos Dragons look beautiful, but few can stand to remain in their presence for long because of the rotten stench they exude. Kaikos are quite large and very lazy; they simply lie still, and the carrion smell attracts would-be scavengers to them. These dragons are completely eyeless and rely on ground vibrations to detect where prey is, and as soon as anything comes close enough, it’s snapped up. Kaikos are surprisingly at home in the water as well, and will swim rather than fly when relocating to a new territory or searching for mates. Their colorful feathers are highly sought after and are most commonly incorporated into jewelry.
