RULES OF NEW DRAGON RELEASES AND DC EVENTS
All newly released dragon and event information/updates is to be compiled on this article only.
Do Not
  • Add the dragon(s) to the Which Egg Is Which page.
  • Add the dragon(s) to the Dragon Types page.
  • Add the dragon(s) to any page apart from this one.
  • Add any new information or updated sprites that are part of an event to any page apart from this one.
  • Create the dragon(s) article before the dragons of TJ09 or users grow up, or create an event page while the event is still in progress. This includes the wait of several days after the adult sprite(s) have been released in order to ensure adequate time for all information to be collected, for the artists to submit any extra information they wish to give as well as to help determine the final rarity of the dragon itself.
  • Add information if it has not been seen in the cave yet.
  • Do not add the spriter's alts of a dragon. (The DC-Wiki team will ask the artist(s) for permission to upload them)
These rules apply while the dragon is being released and until after several days have passed where user's dragons have begun becoming adults. After that, the dragons' article(s) can be created.

Failing to comply with these rules will result in a warning or even a suspension (one week suspension for creating the dragon's or event's article, or changing articles based on any new updates that events bring, before the dragons have grown up or before the event has ended).

Staff Messages
  • Remember, adding information not yet seen in the cave is NOT allowed. We know you know it, we know half of it as well. But please, don't add it until it has been found in the cave.
  • If you add interesting information from speculations made on the forums, please be sure to add this information to the Rumor section unless it is absolutely a proven fact. See the current facts/rumors under each breed for examples.
  • IMPORTANT: Information marked Fact has been confirmed by either staff or spriters, or is currently viewable by all in-cave. Information marked Rumor is rumor- there is no way to prove this information true or false, and though much of it seems like it will be true, do not accept it as true information. This especially means that you should not present this information to people in the forums as hard fact.
  • Holiday Releases: If one of the holiday artists keeps their scroll hidden, respect that fact! The DC-Wiki team will contact and ask them if they would be willing to share the images of their spriter's alt. Do not post links to the spriter's alt, because it may result in them getting sick.

Adult Alcedine Wyvern blue adult Alcedine Wyvern red adult Alcedine Wyverns are large, colorful dragons found all over Galsreim. They are highly active and become bored and fidgety with nothing to do, so much of their time is spent travelling. Alcedines are quite speedy on the wing and rarely bother to land until they reach their destination. Because of their speed and navigation skill, Alcedines are sometimes sought by humans looking to have items or letters delivered to faraway locales. Many Alcedines will take them up on it for the right price, and it is not uncommon for Alcedines to have a small hoard of jewellery in their dens or rings on their horns. Corteo, Infinis

TheCompleteAnimorph
Adult Jester male Jester female Jester Dragons are a pleasant, agreeable breed of dragon known for their striking colors and springy, playful-looking way of moving. Jesters are light on their feet and almost look like they’re dancing from place to place, making them rather fun to watch, but this is simply their natural tendency. Jesters are drawn to excitement and noise, and to dragons and even humans with natural leadership skills. A Jester’s heads tend to get along quite well and are good at recovering from actual conflict, though the black-masked head is generally witty and a bit snarky, and the white-masked head is typically more cheerful and good-natured. Their light-hearted bickering is often cited as an inspiration for comedic writing. Jesters are far from defenseless, though: if actually threatened, they have a very toxic venomous bite, and they are perceptive dragons despite their apparent playfulness. It is thought that their bright, sharply-contrasting colors are aposematic, to warn potential predators of their venom. TheCompleteAnimorph

PieMaster, Shiny Hazard Sign
Adult Amalthean male Amalthean female Wary of all strangers, the elusive Amalthean Dragons cloak themselves in mist to avoid detection. The water sources they live near are astonishingly clear and pure, and have been found to contain medicinal properties. These dragons are known for their ability to cure any disease, wound, or poison, as well as the purification of any water they come across. A blessing from an Amalthean Dragon is said to increase longevity, though they are very selective of who they will heal. An Amalthean’s horn grows from the same wood as a White Dragon’s staff and is highly sought after for its ability to channel and store potent life magic. These colorful little dragons are especially attentive to anyone who might be struggling to find food themselves, such as the elderly, the sick, or the very young. Pargulus pygmies have a surprisingly large range considering their small size. They have been known to travel far and wide to find food to bring back to their friends. Hawaiianbabidoll, Verridith

Dohaerys, spatio
Adult Labradorite male Labradorite female Labradorite dragons are some of the most potent siphons of mana in Valkemare. Dragons and other magical creatures in close proximity to a Labradorite will weaken over time, and extended exposure may even be fatal. However, Labradorites have no control over this effect; any harm they may cause is almost always unintentional. In order to protect others from their draining, they make their homes in the labyrinthine depths of underground caves. Perhaps as a result of this seclusion, Labradorites are gracious hosts to the brave few who dare explore their dark caverns. Legends tell of how these curious dragons traded their sight for wisdom, and those who seek their guidance are richly rewarded with stories, advice, and the odd gemstone. Dohaerys, spatio

Mature hatchling Sapo mature hatchling Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It likes to blow bubbles while it swims.

Nakase
Adult Sapo adult Sapo Dragons are a playful aquatic breed of dragon with soft, slippery scales. They are known for the beautiful, vibrant colors of their fins, which grow more vivid as they age, and for the bubbles they create. A Sapo may make bubbles to decorate their underwater nests, mark their territory, greet another dragon, or simply because they feel like it. Their delicate skin and thin scales are prone to external parasites, and so Sapo dragons are also fastidious groomers who will spend a considerable amount of time cleaning themselves, even using their bubbles to help blast away any unwanted debris. Mature hatchling Cloudplume mature hatchling Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It is white and fluffy, and loves company.

And look! It has gotten bigger! It must be close to maturing.

SkyWolf25
Adult Cloudplume adult Cloudplume Dragons are as warm and friendly as they look. Living in groups of ten to twenty, these dragons make their home in snowy mountains, where their white feathers fit right in with the environment. During their waking hours, they spread out to fly all over the mountains and nearby plains and forests, collecting mana, exploring, and greeting whoever they happen to meet. When they need to rest, they return to the snowy slopes and curl up together. While a single Cloudplume can blast an air breath at attackers to make their escape, a group of Cloudplumes will stick close, feathers puffed up and the large feathers on their backs raised high and quivering, becoming one giant, bristling mass to intimidate the attacker away from their home. Smaller creatures—and some not so small—often get in between the resting dragons for warmth and protection, and the Cloudplumes welcome such guests. During summertime, these dragons fly higher up to the mountaintops where the air stays cool, mingling with the clouds. Mewtie, SkyWolf25
