New Release and Event Policy

Please review the following policies before creating new articles related to recent releases

All newly released dragon and event information/updates is to be compiled on this article only.

Show/Hide Policy

Please do not add information related to an event or release to any article outside of the current release article until the spoiler window has closed.
- For dragon releases, the spoiler window closes 10 days after the start of the release, or at the time the News thread is closed, whichever comes first.
- For timed events such as Holiday mini-games or Festival of Eggs, the spoiler window closes at the time the event ends on-site.
Please help collect information about the release! If you're unsure how to add the information you've found, contact an Administrator for help, or leave a note on the Talk page.
Please give files useful, specific names when uploading to the wiki.
For example, instead of "1234.png" or "egg.png", use something like "July release egg.png"
Help keep information as factual and accurate as possible.
Any new release or event information that has been speculated in the community, but not confirmed in-game or by staff should be included in the Rumor section of the release.

Current release[]

The 2024 Halloween Event is now live! In “The Forgotten Souls of Amberveil,” visit a long-forgotten graveyard and discover its secrets by interacting with the Crypt caretaker. As you do, honor the departed by placing tribute on their graves. If you do your job well, you might just unearth more than you bargained for!
A new section of the story will unlock every day, so check back throughout the event to catch the whole thing!^[1]

Halloween 2024 event[]

Past Events Now Available
Several past Halloween events have returned. Revisit the 2017 Hatchling Dress-Up, 2019 Rise of the Zombies, 2021 Haunted Harvest, and 2023 Pumpkin Carving events for the next two weeks (until 11/8).
New Event on Halloween
A brand new story will also unlock on Halloween at midnight, coinciding with the new dragon release. Visit a long-forgotten graveyard and discover its secrets by interacting with its Grave caretaker. This new story will be available to play for the second half of the event, from 10/31 until 11/8.
Trick or Treating
As in past years, trick-or-treating is enabled across the site. Find hidden treats all over and click them to grab them. There's 54 items this year, and you can once again gather old treats as well. Trick-or-treating will be available for the full two weeks of the event—perfect for catching up on years past.
Halloween Dragon Breeding
Halloween dragons from previous years are breedable until November 1. New event dragons won't be able to breed until next year. In addition, the Halloween event biome has returned. Grab previous Halloween dragons directly from the cave, but only until November 1. There's no limits here either, so catch them before they're gone.
A new dragon will be released on 10/31 and drop for 24 hours. After that, it's gone until next year.^[2]

The Forgotten Souls of Amberveil[]

	Halloween 2024 Halloweens past return to haunt the cave, with a new story coming soon.

The Forgotten Souls of Amberveil is an upcoming mini-game for the Halloween 2024 event. The game will become available on October 31, 2024.

Past events[]

As part of the 2024 Halloween event, the following past Halloween mini-games are available again for two weeks, from October 25 to November 8, 2024.

Trick or Treat 2024[]

The Trick or Treat event has returned for a fourteenth year with 54 treats to collect in 2024. As with previous years, treats appear randomly around the site at 4-12 minute intervals. Clicking on a treat collects it in a user's pumpkin bucket. Upon collecting a treat, users participating in Trick or Treat for the first time receive a pumpkin bucket badge. This year the event will last two weeks, ending on November 8. After collecting the current year's treats, previous years' treats will begin to appear, allowing players to complete past collections.^[2]
