Ciriax Lindwyrms (previously Two-headed Lindwyrms) were released on August 4, 2013, alongside the Duotone Dragon during the "Two-Headed Madness Release". They were the first two-headed lindwyrms to be released on Dragon Cave. Like all other two-headed dragons, they can only breed with their own kind and their eggs cannot be bitten by Vampire Dragons.

Official descriptions[]

Egg[]

This opalescent egg shimmers in the moonlight.

Hatchling[]

Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It sleeps a lot during the day and dislikes bright lights.

Mature hatchling[]

Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It sleeps a lot during the day and dislikes bright lights.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Adult[]

An almost strictly nocturnal breed, Ciriax Lindwyrms are especially attuned to the moons’ cycles. They spend nights patrolling the edges of their territory, aggressively fending off intruders while they feast on their prey. After two or three nights of feeding, often around the time of at least one full moon, Ciriax Lindwyrms retreat to the recesses of their cave or underground homes. These dragons make it particularly difficult to travel on nights that are well-lit by moonlight, often to an unsuspecting adventurer’s dismay.

Breed replacement[]

Two-Headed Lindwyrm retired set

Two-Headed Lindwyrm as seen in the Encyclopedia, prior to replacement

The Ciriax Lindwyrm replaced the Two-Headed Lindwyrm on May 8, 2021. Citing detestable and discriminatory views and conduct by the original artist, Dragon Cave removed all dragon breeds created by the artist and replaced them with new concepts and art. A total of 10 breeds were replaced in this update. An official statement by site administrator TJ09 can be found on the forums.
