Bright Pink Dragons were an original species of Dragon Cave, having been released on June 2, 2007, alongside Chickens, Gold and Neglected Dragons. They were a female-only breed, and were eventually retired in favour of replacing them with the current Pink Dragons. On May 21, 2016, they were re-released into the caves as the new Aria Dragon species in celebration of Dragon Cave's 10th birthday.
Bright Pinks were discontinued as cave drops in April of 2009, and the dragon experienced a surge in demand as they became less common and replaced with the current Pink Dragon. They could be acquired through breeding for an additional three months, although the success rate slowly lowered as they were phased out and retired altogether in August of 2009. This was the first case of a non-event dragon being retired from the cave.
Bright Pinks used to only breed Pink eggs after being discontinued, or the egg of their partner's breed; as Aria dragons, they can produce eggs of their own kind again, however will still breed Pink eggs on the rare occasion. The hatchlings of Bright Pinks were also the same base hatchling sprite currently used for the Dark Green Dragons, and previously used for the Holly and Red Dragons, differing in color alone.
Official Dragon DescriptionsEdit
"It's bright. And pink."
"Aww... It's a cute baby dragon. You think it's a girl, although you're not sure how to check."

And look! It's grown its wings! It must be close to maturing."
"Bright pink dragons are one of the few all-female breeds of dragons. Their bright colors make them easy to spot during dragon mating season. They are primarily herbivores, but eat meat during mating season when it is brought to them by a mate. Mating seasons occur once every 200 years and can last up to 2 years."
