Avatars of Change are a hybrid species added to the cave on Dragon Cave's 8th birthday in 2014. They were released alongside the Avatars of Creation and Avatars of Destruction. All three hybrids are produced with a Guardian of Nature as one of the parents when the second parent is affiliated with that respective avatar.

Like the other two Avatars, they are sorted as Lugiaavatar using breed sort. They are placed between Avatars of Destruction and Avatars of Creation.

An Avatar of Change, like all Avatars, can produce offspring of either its own species, the species of its mate, or the kind of Avatar that its mate's species would have made with a Guardian of Nature. See also: Avatar breeding.
