Egg

"This delicately patterned egg is sitting in the sunshine."

Hatchling

"Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It seems very friendly and loves the sunshine."

Mature Hatchling

"Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It seems very friendly and loves the sunshine. And look! It has grown brightly-colored wings! It must be close to maturing."

Adult

"Anagallis Dragons are a medium-sized omnivorous breed. Widespread and adaptable, their easygoing nature enables them to flourish under most conditions. They are social creatures, fun-loving and outgoing, and will readily defend smaller dragons from others’ aggression. They are fond of sunshine, and can often be found basking on rocks; on cloudy or stormy days they are more reluctant to venture out, and will often hide themselves away until the weather is more favorable."

:3 I'm so glad you guys like the egg design. I keep thinking of it as a confetti egg, myself. These bbs are ready to party from the minute they're born. XD

Eeee! *bounces* So happy to see people aren't disappointed with them now they're All Grown Up!

(And for anyone curious about where the pink/purple accents come from - I wouldn't have thought of them either, but apparently nature has other ideas ;D)

ETA: re the Tinsel pairing - o.o What I would not give for one of those... *drools*

<3 all around - so fun to wake up to lots of happy! :D

I'm very glad people approve of the blue/red choices for male and female. Fun fact: Some early naturalists studying the flowers thought that the blue variety of plant was the female and the red was the male.

'Nother fun fact: Apparently "Anagallis" derives from a Greek word meaning "to laugh."

<hands you virtual cookies> I wondered if anyone else would remember those books! They are indeed the original source of my love for these pretty flowers. ^^

There will definitely be more info about them. As proven by the leak at the beginning of the release... their encyclopedia info is set up and ready to go, so it should be available soon.
